Our clinic is led by Marek Czeladzki, an MSc-qualified, HCPC-registered chartered physiotherapist, independent prescriber, and musculoskeletal sonographer a member of both the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Marek trained in ultrasound-guided injection techniques at the University of Essex and holds a postgraduate certificate in clinical ultrasound. Our diagnostic service is supported by an external consultant radiologist, Prof. Saulius Rutkauskas, MD, PhD, Vice-Chair of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology’s Ultrasound Subcommittee.

Marek Czeladzki is a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist and Musculoskeletal (MSK) Sonographer based at our Eastleigh clinic. He holds an MSc in Physiotherapy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound, and is registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). As a qualified independent prescriber (IP), Marek is authorised to assess, diagnose, and prescribe treatment including medications and injection therapies without requiring a GP referral.
He is a member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and completed advanced training in ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections at the University of Essex. Marek specialises in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, point-of-care diagnostic ultrasound (POCUS), and ultrasound-guided injection procedures for shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, and ankle conditions.
He also holds advanced training in myoskeletal therapy under Dr Erik Dalton, and regularly undertakes professional development, including cadaveric injection courses at King’s College London.

Professor Saulius Rutkauskas, MD, PhD, is our external consultant radiologist and one of Europe’s foremost experts in musculoskeletal ultrasound. He performs over 100 MSK ultrasound assessments per week and has co-authored two specialist textbooks and more than 16 peer-reviewed journal articles on musculoskeletal imaging. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Ultrasound Subcommittee of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR), is a member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), and is an invited lecturer at SOMT University of Physiotherapy in the Netherlands. Prof. Rutkauskas is a regular speaker and tutor at ESSR annual meetings and international Ultrasound Outreach courses, bringing world-class radiological expertise to support our diagnostic scanning service.
